"Well, seeing as you work in the Gazebo, I'm sure you've at least seen Origami," he says to Sheehan, lifting the driftwood off his shoulder to adjust the cranes so they all fall the way they should, strung together with thread and tied closely together. "But there's a legend that says if you fold a thousand, you get a wish, or a life time of luck and happiness."

Glancing behind him to make sure he wasn't going to trip on anything he backs up so the both of them can see it, holding it up with the rope he'd secured to both ends of the driftwood, "when you string them together like this it's called Senbazuru, which I'm pretty sure literally just means a thousand cranes. I kind of fold them every day, so it wasn't a mad rush to get your thousand all together."
