"Is that how fast we were going? Remind me to find you cars that go two hundred and higher."

She shut the door, grinning as she fussed over everything, as a last minute check.

"Or watch some drag racing. We might have to spectate. Or drive in a race."

[heyboss]

"That seems like you might need some extra training!" he laughs, but leans back, enjoying sitting in the passenger seat.

She couldn't help it; she cackled.

"Maybe in stunt driving! It'll be useful. We could all use it."

She didn't start off tearing rubber, thankfully. She actually started driving at normal speed, out of the garage, like he did.

He sits back, settled and comfortable and watches out the window. "Stunt driving?"

[weirdnecro]

"Oh right, they don't have that in the movies yet." She grinned as she slowly sped up the car.

"Where you learn how to drive in dangerous situations- like tires leaving the ground, rolling cars, that sort of thing." She grinned. "I bet John would love it."

[heyboss]

"Maybe he would," he agrees with a grin. "That just means we'll have to show him eventually."

[weirdnecro]

"Oh yeah. And Arthur would have to learn too. All four of us should!"

Her eyes were focused on the road but she was grinning.

"Life skills for our exciting lives."

[heyboss]

He grins. "You expect to do a lot of...what did you call it? Stunt driving...?"

[weirdnecro]

Sokie offered a dark chuckle.

"Ooooh....well....you never know!"

[heyboss]

He presses a hand to the roof playfully. "Oh, very ominous," he teases. "Are you going to take this any faster, grandma?"

[weirdnecro]

"Grandma! I'm offended and appalled! I shake my cane at you."

She huffed, smiling as she slowed for the curve.

"Just you wait. I'm gonna learn how we can jump cars over holes and show you."

And after the curve she stepped on the gas.

He lets out a happy yelp of excitement.

"Not here!" he laughs.

[weirdnecro]

"Well! When I learn, program them in!"

She laughed, clearly enjoying herself. "Then I'll do it!"

[heyboss]

"God help us all," he swears, looking ahead though the windshield, pushing his hair back from his face as they approach a curve. "Careful here," he warns, though he doesn't think he actually needs to.

"You'll love it, let's not lie Les."

She was teasing, playful, but she did slow down for the curve, warning or not. Arthur would kill her five times over if Lester was hurt.

[heyboss]

He would, but Sheehan would never tattle.

They take the curve and he throws up his hands playfully. "Now that's some driving."

[weirdnecro]

It'd help that she'd fix Les right up, better then new. And then treat him somehow.

"Oh yeah." She chuckled as she waited for them to be around the curve, before speeding right up again. "Helps that I've been driving and stealing cars since they were...oh...became more common place?"

No shame. Only speed.

[heyboss]

"Stealing!" he gasps like he hasn't known that. "Sokie, I don't know about you..."

[weirdnecro]

She laughed at his mock surprise.

"I stole cars before it was cool!"

[heyboss]

He cackles a little in the wind. "I don't believe I know you," he tells her playfully, grinning all the while.

[weirdnecro]

"And that's what you'll tell the police!"

She was giggling as they sped along the road.

"Kidnapper and car jacker. That's me!"

[heyboss]

"Damn right," he laughs. "I'm just the poor hostage. The damsel in distress." He leans back and closes his eyes, just letting the feeling of the car overwhelm him completely.
