There is a skeptical look from that cat face before he smushes his cheeks against Sheehan's jaw.

I'll... try not to worry about it as much.

He yawns and leans back, unsure of whether he actually wants to get up or not.

And the cat is going to melt down, as cats do, to flop on his chest. Stay right here, mister.

It doesn't help if I get too far into my head about it, though.

"What do you do when that happens?" he wonders. "What helps you feel calm?"

The cat is going to make biscuits on you, Sheehan.

Because that's the answer.

He chuckles and strokes a hand along his back.

"Ah. I understand. Carry on."

He leans up into the hand and flops over a little chasing the hand for more petting. Then he sort of sideways biscuits, half missing Sheehan's blankets.

...he's still purring, though.
