Lester Sheehan? My name is Alan Wake.
I'd like to have a moment of our time. Let me know when you're free.

It's Cain.
Left a few library books at the front desk for you.
Thought you might be interested.
[Should Sheehan be in a position to go and look into this he'll find three books being held for him on Cain's request.
The first is one that is generally about space-faring vessels and weaponry, the second, 'Quantum Physics 101', and the third is simply titled 'Antimatter' and is a short but relatively easy to follow book that lays out the existence and practical applications of antimatter in easy to understand language.]

Are you gonna tell me what that weird black swirling thing that took over all the screens was, or am I going to have to ask the Barge or bug the Admiral myself?
[ Nana doesn't know if Sheehan knows what that was. And honestly, no matter what, she's probably going to raise the matter with the rest of the Barge anyway (or at least, all of the inmates). But after dealing with so much nonsense during that Silent Hill event and spending the past few days waiting for the shoe to drop, Nana is on edge ]

Hey just checking in with you and the other Lester about the weird music. Both of you okay?
You'll be pleased to know that Lettuce is a-okay! I don't think anybody bothered my room during all that chaos.
[ Nana's got on her bright, happy, cheerful default tone of voice...that Sheehan, by now, knows is fake as fuck. ]

Hanna hadn't been avoiding the boats after that first day, he'd gone out with Vincent, given him his cup to do what he wanted with, but he had declined a few offers to go out when he was asked. Taylor had warned him that secrets were hard to keep on the barge when they'd gotten paired, and he hadn't expected it to become a problem so soon after learning about it, especially since it hadn't been in the five months he'd been on board.
Walking the beach, collecting smooth stones, he finally settles near the docks as people start going out, skipping rocks along the waters surface. He's actually pretty good at it.

Hey Lester.
You're a shrink right.
[He knows he is. This is just Cain's awkward way of starting a conversation he isn't sure he wants to have.]

Arthur is incredibly> not opposed.
He leans into the kiss with a soft noise at the hand in his hair, and starts going double-time on the buttons to try and get these monkey suits off as soon as possible.

Like he'd said, by the time he knew there even was going to be a wedding, the gift he intended to bring by had already been crafted, well. Mostly.
Having spent a few days in port looking for the right piece of drift wood, he'd finished tying the long strands of cranes to it, attempting to create the kind of ombre effect that he had seen on past examples.
Written across the wooden shaft in Hanna's best handwriting is a quote, "all I know of hate is that it will never beat the love out of me." He'd discovered it after suggesting a few collections in the library to Sokie and liked it. What's better is that if they didn't like it, they could just hang it the other way so the message was hidden away.
Carrying the thing over to Arthur and Sheehan's shared cabin on his shoulder, the cranes thankfully not so long that they dragged on the floor, Hanna knocks. He's hoping to find the both of them in, but eventually they'd both see it anyways so it didn't necessarily matter.

Luckily there's two voices on the other side of the door, quiet conversation, and when Hanna knocks there's movement on the other side of the frosted glass in short order with Arthur's voice.
"Just a moment-" the lanky silhouette approaches, and when the door opens Arthur's face - the polite, neutral sort of friendly - breaks into a genuine smile at the sight of Hanna. "Hanna, hey! Come in, please." And he steps back to let him in.

Hey Lester.
[She sighs. She should just come over but well. This is awkward.
Also she has no idea how his gazebo shifts work.]
Lemme know if you have a minute? Just want to explain...and apologize.

Hey Lester I
I've got myself into a fucking weird position here
I need your help.

Got a minute, doc?
[Immediately following this conversation.]
Hanna has been hiding for days. He'd come out long enough to apologize and talk to Saga and what she'd told him brought him right back to the book fort the morning after.
But Malcolm has absolutely no subtly and in Hanna's expert opinion, no tact, and he finds himself standing in front of Sheehan and Arthur's shared door.
He knocks quietly and shoves his hands in his pockets, staring a hole into the floor. If he let's his fists unclench in his pockets he's going to start shaking.

If there's one thing Max has a razor set of ears for, it's mockery. Even in text. He saw it in Pyotr and he saw it in Fitz's 'admission' and it has him putting his communicator down and taking a cold shower for a while. Once he gets out, he puts on the shirt Justine gave him and he leaves a message for Doc Sheehan.
Do you need anything fixed? I'm good with engines.

It's a good long conversation with Max, and while he's glad he's got Max's permission, even if he doesn't need it on any level, there's some self-assuredness when he finds Sheehan and rests a hand on his shoulder, leaning in to give him a quick kiss.
"Well, I like him," he says cheerfully.

Hey. Would you be okay with it if I got Max a real TV? Nothing too extravagant. Just, like, a 65 inch flatscreen. DVD player so he can get movies from the library. Built in library of the shows he likes.
I'm sure you're busy with your new assignment, but can I bother you for professional advice, Dr. Sheehan?
I understand you don't work in the counseling office any more, but it would be stupid of me to not reach out for that reason only.

Doctor Sheehan?
Do you have time to have a private talk?

[ Given the string of events, there was a bit of a delay. But eventually Vincent gets back to Sheehan on a matter he wished to speak of. ]

[Hanna sounds tired, which honestly hasn't been that uncommon since he'd gotten back.]
Hey, you have a minute? I had a question for you.

Doctor, I understand it's a few days early, but are you free? I'm...fine, but something happened this morning that I don't exactly know what to do with.
Hey Les. You got some free time to hang out?
Nothing pressing, just wanted to socialize.
Cuz I missed you.
